From the jungles of Malaysia, this moth is huge! With wingspan over 8", the largest wing area. It's about 7" tall. That's why they call it Atlas. Have four spots which look like large eyes which gives the illusion the size is larger than it really is, and tells predators to be cautious. Many fragile insects have self-preservation characteristics like this to keep from being eaten.
