It imitates the shape of a leaf and measures at about 5 inches. It has a green colour with brown patches. The upper wings cover all the body. Adult behavior in the terrarium moves like a leaf. The young ones are very vivacious with dark red-brown coloring.Females lays about 100 eggs on the ground with an incubation from 5 to 6 months.
Heat and humidity are very important for good development of the insects A constant temperature of 19-23°C will be all right. (Not over 29°C!). Light is also very important for the younger ones.
