One of the largest specimens, the venom from this centipede is not considered deadly but can give a very painful bite. With beautiful jet black body, red head and yellow legs, this display invertebrate ranges from the United States to Mexico. An aggressive and active terrestrial may grow to 8inches with medium speed and its diet includes: babies will consume small insects. Adults will attack almost any creature that is not larger that itself, including large crickets, cockroaches, and even fuzzy mice.
